In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of geolocation games on iOS in Nigeria showcased varied trends across different metrics. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's an overview of how the top five apps performed.

Monster Hunter Now by Niantic, Inc. experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $15 in multiple weeks, including the end of June and early September. Although the app started the quarter with 65 downloads, the numbers dwindled significantly, with only sporadic downloads in subsequent weeks. Active user numbers showed a gradual decline, starting at 538 and dropping to 384 by the end of September.

Ingress Prime from Niantic Spatial, Inc. saw a revenue surge to about $35 in the final week of September. Despite this increase, download activity was minimal, with only a couple of downloads recorded in August and none thereafter. Active user engagement was also low, with a maximum of two users in early August.

Pikmin Bloom, another title by Niantic, Inc., had a quiet quarter with revenue reaching $12 at the end of September after a period of inactivity. Downloads were sparse, with only a few recorded in late August and September. Active user numbers remained constant at around two to three users throughout the quarter.

COIN: Always Be Earning from Xy Labs, Inc. reported a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $5 by the end of September. Despite the revenue growth, the app did not record any downloads during the quarter. Active users varied slightly, beginning at 154 and ending at 126.

Finally, Turf Wars by MeanFreePath LLC showed no significant activity in terms of revenue or downloads during this period.
